Within five minutes' drive there are many attractions, castles, beaches, golf courses and the Snowdonia National Park. The local restaurants and inns provide an extensive range of succulent dishes. Apart from the superb accommodation, the Talhenbont Estate offers a lot more to visitors. There are woodland walks along a 1.5 mile stretch of river which runs over a series of waterfalls in a ravine, with safe areas for children to play or paddle. The river is a designated habitat for otters and offers salmon and sea trout fishing. Visitors are free to use an all weather tennis court and outdoor chess for adults. There are numerous pet animals which welcome being fed and petted. Guests of all ages enjoy "The Quackery", which houses a great variety of birds. There is an adventure playground, "Fort Good", which is a paradise for children. The mild climate makes Talhenbont an excellent retreat for year round holidays.
